What to say about the couple?! They became friends whilst working together at Stena Line. It all started with just the occasional ‘hi’ and kept on growing from there. When Claire’s shifts changed at work, they saw more of each other and time passed. Claire and her very good friend Donna started working with Kenny more and more and they all got along extremely well.

After a time of knowing each other, Kenny realised that life is too short and that he really liked Claire so he plucked up his courage and asked her out in December of 2014.

What started as drives around Galloway Forest for picnics and walks, steadily grew into a mutual love and appreciation for one another. Then, on a Spring day in 2026, Kenny took Claire back to the Grey Mares Tail in the Galloway Forest and popped the question… and the rest as they say, is history.
